It will be Conducted as per GO.33, Dt: 31-12-2014 by JNTU for entry into Under Graduate Professional Course offered for the academic year 2017-2018. TS EAMCET 2017 Notification:Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test being conducted by JNTU Hyderabad on behalf of TSCHE. A Common Entrance Test, designated as Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test-2017 (EAMCET-2017) of Telangana State will be conducted by JNTU Hyd for entry into the professional courses like Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine for the academic year 2017-18 in the State of Telangana.

Telangana State Government has announced the schedule for admission in to medical courses in the state. As per the new schedule announced by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education, EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine Common Entrance Test) will be held on 12th May 2017, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The council appointed Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) registrar Yadaiah as the EAMCET convenor. This is the third time that the state will be conducting EAMCET for admissions to professional courses.

Courses Offered through TS EAMCET-2017 Exam for UG Admissions 2017-18: 

1. B.E./ B.Tech – Bachelor of Engineering (ECE, CSE, Civil, Mechanical, IT, EEE and many other engineering courses), B.Tech (Bio-Technology), B.Tech (Diary Technology), B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech-FST (Food Science and Technology)

2. B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Horticulture)

3. Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.)

4. Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.)

5. B.Sc. (Commercial Agriculture & Business Management) (CA & BM).

6. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) / Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

7. Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

8. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.

2. Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh.

3. Candidates should passed intermediate/ 12th class from recognized Board of TS/ AP state with  Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology/Biotechnology as major subjects .

Age: Candidates should have 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

Eligible candidates who wanted to apply for EAMCET-2017 may submit their applications through Online mode. Detailed information regarding Syllabi, List of courses, Procedure for Online Application with / without late fee etc., is given in the Detailed Notification & Instruction Booklet displayed in the website:  https://tseamcet.in/

Application Fee:
The application form cost of Rs 250/-. Candidates can apply till two days before of exam date with late fee of Rs.10,000. But these candidates will be allotted Centres at Hyderabad, Secunderabad only.
For Engineering (E) stream – Rs.250/- for SC/ ST category,  Rs.500/- for all other candidates
For Agriculture and Medicine (AM) – Rs.250/- for SC/ ST category,  Rs.500/- for all other candidates
E & AM both streams -Rs.500/- for SC/ ST category,  Rs.1000/- for all others

EAMCET 2017 Exam Pattern:
The EAMCET-2017 Exam pattern is same as last year.
1. Engineering:
Maths-80 Marks,
Physics-40 Marks,
Chemisty-40 Marks.
2. Agriculture and Medicine : 
Botany-40 Marks,
Zoology -40 Marks,
Physics -40 Marks,
Chemistry - 40 Marks.
EAMCET  exam will be conducted separately for Engineering, Agricuture and medical admissional.
Ranks will be decided according to the marks secured in inter and EAMCET. 25%  - Inter, 75%  - EAMCET. In this test qualifying marks are 25% but this will not applicable for SC, ST  Students.

Examination Centres:
* In the State Telangana it's decided to conduct EAMCET examination in 13 cities  , viz.. Adilabad, Warangal ,Janagoan, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Vanaparthy and Hyderabad. Where Hyderabad consists of  8 centres.
* No centres are allotted in Andhrapradesh State. If they ask for centres then TS govt will decide.
This responsibility incharge is given to JNTU- Hyderabad.
* They are expecting that 2.5 lakhs students may appear for this exam..in that 70,000 from A.P., and  80,000 from Telangana state. Rank of A.P students will be allotted as same as CBSE  students allotted.

How to apply:

Eligible and interested candidates have to apply through online mode only. TS EAMCET 2017 online Application will be available at  www.tseamcet.in. Read the instructions carefully and fill the application form. Submit the filled in application form on or before last date. The Registration fee may be paid at TS Online /AP Online / Mee Seva / e-Seva centers in Telangana State or A.P. /through Payment Gateway (Credit card/Debit card).

Note:- This is only a Notification for entrance test. Candidate has to fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in the relevant G.Os at the time of admission.

Hall Tickets:
The Telangana State EAMCET Committee has decided to release a comprehensive schedule of EAMCET in April.  The hall ticket numbers and the examination centres of the candidates as part of the fool-proof arrangements for the test.  The candidates can download their hall tickets from May first week. A notification in this regard is expected in a couple of days, the officials informed.
