Telangana State Council of Higher Education(TSCHE):
*Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) was constituted by the Telangana Govt empowering vice chancellor of seven universities as council members reported IANS
*The government issued an order adapting the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) Act, 1988. It argued that under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, it is empowered to make adaptations and modifications of any law made in united Andhra Pradesh.
*The order issued by the department of higher education has appointed the vice chancellors of Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University and Satavahana University as council members.

Telangana Common Entrance Test Dates/Schedule 2017

As per above ,Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) has given schedule as 

1. May 12th, 2017 - EAMCET will be conducted by JNTU-Hyd
2. May 27th, 2017 - LAWCET,  PGLAWCET will be conducted by KU
3. May 6th, 2017 - ECET will be conducted by JNTU
4. May 18th, 2017 - ICET will be conducted by the kakatiya University
5. May 16th, 2017- PECET(Physical Edn CET) will be conducted by the Osmania University
6. May 30th, 2017 - PGECET will be conducted by the OU
7. May 28th, 2017 - EdCET to be conducted by the Osmania University.

The above Common Entrance Tests for the students of Telangana, as per the given Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) schedule TS EAMCET on May 12, LAWCET & PGLAWCET May 27, ICET May 18, EdCET May 28, TS ECET on May 6. These various Common Entrance Tests for the students of Telangana. Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) would be held on May 12. While LAWCET will be held on May 27, the Kakatiya University will conduct ICET on May 18. The Osmania University will conduct EDCET on May 28, PGECET May 30 and PECET on May 16.

He also confirmed that students from Andhra Pradesh will have to write Telangana CETs to secure admission in the state. He added that the TS Government is ready to help the AP government in conducting the examinations.  Earlier, in a meeting chaired by the Telangana Education Minister, CETs dates and allotment of CETs to the Universities was discussed. Now, the TS government announced the dates. So, this is good new for Students about these examination dates. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) Chairman, T. Papi Reddy said EAMCET date has been decided keeping in view other important exams in the country that are popular with Telugu students. The AP students seeking to join institutions in Telangana need to appear for these tests.
